I’m Trent Smith. Since childhood I have excelled in many sports and from the age of 11 pursued a very successful boxing career. In 2012 I was ranked no 2 in England and have won 6 Midland titles at different weights. In 2013 my greatest achievement was winning the Worcestershire Junior Sportsman of the Year. With my experience and knowledge of top level sport I can help you make a change.

MY PHILOSPHY: We all must find the right balance; muscular strength, physical endurance, nutrition, flexibility, rest and mental stimulation, will help achieve your goals.

Chris FreeburyDeputy Manager

He represented Great Britain at multiple European and World championships as well as England on multiple occasions including the 2010 and 2014 Commonwealth Games. 

Chris is a Loughborough University Sports Science graduate and also holds a Master’s degree in Applied Sport & Exercise Science. He specialises in Strength and Conditioning, Nutrition and is also an accredited Olympic Weightlifting coach and Sports Massage Therapist. 

He has experience delivering strength and conditioning and rehabilitation programmes as part of a multidisciplinary team to elite athletes in the sports of Athletics, Swimming, Canoe polo, Cycling, Golf, Archery, Rugby League, table tennis, Basketball, Olympic Weightlifting and Volleyball, including commonwealth and Paralympic medallists. Chris also has experience as an Associate lecturer at Derby University delivering as part of the sport and exercise science team and as a British Weightlifting and KBT Education course tutor.

I have always had a passion for sport and exercise which I have expanded through study and participation over the last 10 years. I began to develop my knowledge of health and fitness at secondary school and furthered this development attending Hartpury College studying sports performance, alongside completing my FA level 2 coaching badge whilst training and playing for the 1st and 2nd team.  My background in team sport and football coaching has been instrumental in developing my teaching style so I can get the best out of clients and group fitness classes.  After graduating from college I qualified as a personal trainer and strength/conditioning coach.  I am now using the knowledge and skills I have gained to help others achieve their health and fitness goals. Whether it be providing personalised fitness programmes and PT sessions or just giving you some friendly guidance in the gym my coaching can get you results.
