Aqua Aerobics

Here at MSJ we are always looking to expand our range of services. We now have added Aqua Aerobics to our vast array of classes on Wednesdays at 8.15pm.

As the name suggests Aqua Aerobics is essentially aerobic exercise in the water. It will take place in the shallow end of our pool. It's a choreographed group session that lasts 45 minutes. Workouts will consist of routines familiar to those who have experienced land aerobics, to include jumping jacks, cross-country skiing motion, walking and running backwards and forwards. Workouts  will also utilise special water devices, such as ‘noodles’ or 'woggles', which are used to aid floatation and add resistance. The sessions are performed to music and the aim of the session is to have fun as well as improve fitness levels.
