Through breathing techniques and a series of simple Yoga moves, our Bodybalance Fitness classes aim to increase flexibility, improve strength, reduce stress, and control body weight. You will be guided every step of the way by our instructor Stephen and questions can be asked throughout
BENEFITS OF BODYBALANCE
Flexibility is important as it improves posture and balance. Flexibility decreases the risk of injury and reduces muscular tension. At our Bodybalance Fitness classes, we embrace scientifically backed elements of Tai Chi and Pilates to achieve your flexibility goals. Our instructors provide options for newcomers so you can work at your own pace.
Learning to control your breathing allows you to quieten your mind as you relax and stretch through our carefully structured Bodybalance Fitness routines. A recent study conducted by the University of Roehampton showed that a blend of Pilates, Tai Chi, and Yoga helps reduce symptoms of anxiety.
Strengthen the core
Working with your own body weight is a beneficial way of building strength and toning the body, in turn strengthening core muscles. Strengthening core muscles also trains the muscles in the lower back, pelvis, and hips which helps develop better balance and stability.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Stephen is a passionate fitness instructor with over 20 years experience. Stephen is a certified Level 2 instructor and a member of The Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMPSPA) and a certified Les Mills RPM, Sprint and Les Mills CORE instructor
A talented cyclist, Stephen was invited to the British Cycling Youth Squad at the age of 15. Before teaching fitness, Stephen was a martial arts Taekwondo instructor for 14 years where he gained the rank of fourth Degree Black Belt. Stephen uses his experiences to help build authenticity in his classes.
