Our 1-2-1 30-minute or one-hour sessions are bespoke to your needs and fitness goals. Our team of dedicated professionals, Chris and Gabbie will guide you every step of the way.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS
Chris
Chris graduated from Loughborough University as a Sports Science graduate and holds a master’s degree in Applied Sport and Exercise Science. Chris also has experience of delivering strength and conditioning and rehabilitation programmes as part of a multidisciplinary team to elite athletes in a range of sports, including Athletics, Swimming, Cycling Gold, Rugby League, Canoe Polo, Archery, Table Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball and Olympic Weightlifting, including Commonwealth and Paralympic medalists.
He represented Great Britain at multiple European and World Championships and represented England on numerous occasions including the 2010 and 2014 Commonwealth Games. Chris also has experience as an Associate Lecturer at Derby University where he delivered as part of the Sport and Exercise Science Team and as a British Weightlifting and KBT Education course.
Gabbie
Gabbie joined MSJ Sports & Fitness Centre in 2019 and is a Level 3 Personal Trainer and Level 2 Fitness Instructor. Her areas of expertise include fat loss and toning, resistance training, nutritional advice, core stability and strength training.
As well as Personal Training Gabbie teaches many of the classes at MSJ Sports & Fitness Centre and is Les Mills Body Pump instructor.
Growing up Gabbie had a passion for sports, competing in netball, hockey, athletics and football for school, club and county. Gabbie brings the skills she’s learnt on the pitch into her training sessions making them fun, enjoyable and challenging.
